Scrambled eggs are awesome for breakfast, brunch or lunch. What’s more? it’s very easy to prepare! Let’s have a look see.

The key to making perfect scrambled eggs is whisking the eggs thoroughly and vigorously before cooking them. Whisking incorporates air, which produces fluffier scrambled eggs. The fluffier the scramble eggs, the more terrific it turns out.

  • 3 eggs
  • 8 tablespoons of creamy milk
  • White pepper
  • Vegetable or groundnut oil (you can also use a knob of butter in place of your oil to add some fancy touch)
  • Oninons (hearby seasonings are optional)

  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Cooking bowl
  • Whisk, spoon or fork
  • Wood spoon
  • Plates to serve
eggs and a whiskdelish

  • Rinse the egg
  • Break open and empty the content of the egg into a clean bowl
  • Add salt and white pepper and creamy milk
  • Beat the egg using a whisk or you can improvise with a spoon or fork
  • Heat up the frying pan to dry out traces of water then pour suitable quantity of oil (vegetable or groundnut oil).
  • Let the oil/butter heat up a bit but don’t allow the it to brown so it won’t discolour the eggs.
  • After the oil has heat up pour the egg mixture into it and reduce the heat of your stove/burner/cooker
  • Let the egg sit (i.e. leave the egg in the position you poured in the frying pan) for some seconds without stirring
  • Stir with a wooden spoon, lifting and folding it over from the bottom of the pan
  • Let it sit for another 10 seconds then stir and fold again.
  • Repeat this until the eggs are softly set and slightly runny in places (“runny” means that the eggs appear under-cooked or the yoke is still orange and the white is still liquid.)
  • Remove the frying pan from the heat and leave for a few seconds to finish cooking.
  • Give a final stir and serve the velvety scramble hot.

Scrambled eggs go well with toasts, regular bread, boiled plantain, and also with fried plantain etc.

Note: Ensure you use a non-stick frying pan and a wooden spoon to get perfect results
